Alliance Scholarship Winners Announced

Alliance Scholarship Winners announced.

Three individuals with ties to our stores were among the winners of $1500 scholarships through the Automotive Aftermarket Alliance (Auto Value).  

The Automotive Aftermarket Alliance has once again awarded 15-$1500 college scholarships to families of Auto Value Parts stores and Certified Service Centers employees.  An additional 15 scholarships worth $1500 each were awarded to individuals pursuing studies to prepare them for jobs int he Aftermarket.

Local winners were Dylan Hengesteg, Casey Karsten and Nick Laing.

Dylan is the son of Gretchen and Cory Hengesteg.  Kory works at Knudtson Automotive in Northwood, Iowa, a Certified Service Center that purchases from our Mason City Arnold Motor Supply.  He plance to attend North Iowa Area Community College and study Automotive Technology.

Nick Laing, son of Mark & Pat Laing (Both work at Arnold Motor Supply in Humboldt), will attend  Grand View University in Des Moines and study Accounting and Business Administration.

Casey Karsten was awarded a scholarship through the Advancing the Aftermarket scholarship program and will attend Southeast Community College in Milford, Nebraska in the  John Deere Tech Program.  His parents are Joe and Becky Karsten.  Joe works at Arnold Motor Supply  in Carroll.

These are very competitive scholarships and we congratulate the winners!
