While we have certainly been impacted by COVID-19, we want to assure you that we are committed to health and safety, and serving the needs of our customers.
Health and Safety
Our priority during the response to COVID-19 is the health and safety of our associates, their families, and our customers. We have taken and continue to take steps to protect all involved. We have taken steps to protect our immune-compromised associates. We are focusing on cleaning and sanitizing high contact areas. We have implemented a delivery policy to protect customers and delivery drivers. We have canceled meetings, roadshows and other large gatherings. We continue to monitor the situation and are ready to act in response to unforeseen challenges as this dynamic situation evolves.
On March 19, 2020, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security issued its Memorandum on Identification of Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers During COVID-19 Response. This memorandum lists sixteen key segments of the economy and is intended to help state and local officials as they work to protect local communities. Among the list of Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers are “Automotive repair and maintenance facilities” and “Employees who repair and maintain vehicles, aircraft, rail equipment, marine vessels, and the equipment and infrastructure that enables operations that encompass the movement of cargo and passengers.” What we are doing is essential.
