Fairfield Arnold Motor Supply is teaming up with the Cougar Board and the Fairfield Little League to help raise funds for their on-going expenses through old batteries.
Local store manager Mel Allen and the rest of the Arnold Motor Supply team are inviting the public to bring their old automotive, marine, and industrial batteries to the store on Saturday, November 22 from 8 a.m. to noon. For every battery core brought in, they will donate $10 to the Cougar Board and the Fairfield Little League. If anyone has lawnmower or motorcycle batteries to donate, those are worth $5.
“This is a great chance for people to get rid of their old batteries and help the kids,” said Allen. “We were proud to help. We hope everyone will take this opportunity to clean out their garages and machine sheds and help the kids at the same time.”
