General Description

Assists customers in the selection of automotive parts.

Job Duties

• Advises customers of parts needed based on the make and year of vehicle and/or description of malfunction.
• Inform customers of the use and features of various automotive parts.
• Reads catalogs or computer to find replacement part stock number and price.
• Fills customer orders from store inventory and/or outside sourcing.
• Receives and fills telephone and walk-in orders for parts.
• Restocking shelves and general cleaning duties to help maintain the appearance of the store.
• Back-up for delivery drivers.
• Check in freight.
• Mix paint.
• Attend required meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic vehicle knowledge.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Lifting of a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Standing, lifting, twisting, bending, walking and sitting.
• Ability to use the computer
• Ability to use the phone.
• Valid driver’s license.

Full time position available for our paint booth construction crew.  Previous experience in construction, electrical or HVAC preferred.  Position includes full-benefit package including health, dental, vision, 401k and paid vacation.  Valid driver's license, good driving record, ability to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis and extensive overnight travel required.

The process includes cylinder block welding, reconditioning and repair, both in aluminum and cast iron, gas and diesel applications. We repair agricultural, automotive, truck and heavy equipment engines and related parts, including, but not limited to, rock shaft housings, transmission housings, and various cast iron welding. We are looking for individuals for welding, machining and teardown areas.
