The Novita 550 is a thermal turn sigl flasher that operates at 12 V. Developed in the early 1940's, thermal turn sigl flashers use heat, generated by electricity, to bend spring steel interlly which causes the flasher to operate. Thermal flashers are made in overseas however, the Novita LL552, EL12 and LF12 feature newer technology and are direct replacements that are made in the U.S.A.
