Spencer, Iowa — Two long standing auto parts companies, Spencer Auto Parts and Arnold Motor Supply will join forces, serving customers at the Arnold Motor Supply location at 615 S Grand Ave later this month.
Spencer Auto Parts has served the Spencer and surrounding communities since it first opened its doors in 1978. Current owners Josh Nelson, Jerry and Candie Nelson, and Kevin Robinson purchased the business in 2019, returning it back to local ownership.
Arnold Motor Supply started as a single store operation in Spencer, Iowa in 1927, and has grown to 59 parts stores throughout the Midwest, 3 distribution centers, 3 industrial coatings blending centers and a stand alone machine shop.
With the joining of these two businesses, customers will see the same great brands like Gates, WIX, and Grote along with services like hydraulic hose repair and custom-made assemblies.
Arnold Motor Supply also recently announced the activation of their heavy-duty program in the next few months. This will be a nice complement to the inventory Spencer Auto Parts offered its customers.

The team at Spencer Auto Parts has served our community well for the past 44 years and the tradition of excellent service will continue with Arnold Motor Supply.
